The DPPHSS Erasmus Project is close to its end.

As it was envisaged from the beginning of the project and was fixed in the action-plan, the main achievements and results of the project was summarized and presented during the international conference held at Yerevan State University (YSMU, Coordinator of the project.

The objective of the conference was also to discuss the challenges, novelties and the new directions of the development in the public health and social work disciplines, as well as to reveal the processes of integration and interdisciplinary cooperation between those two fields.

The two days’ conference (September 12th– 13th, 2022) was opened with the welcoming speeches of the rector and vice-rector of the hosting university (YSMU), head of the NEO-Armenia and by the coordinator of the project.

The representatives of all partner universities participated in the conference. And, what is important, their participation was not limited only with the attendance, but also considered speeches and moderation of the sessions. Other international partners of the Armenian universities from Kyrgyzstan and Moldova participated in the conference and gave speeches as well.

The conference had 6 sessions, that were devoted to the topics like: development of the public health and social work higher education systems, public health care practice and development of the discipline, social work practice, social services and social protections systems in partner countries, etc.

The conference had also students’ session, during which the students from the partner universities gave short-presentations on the topics they were interested in had done researches.

By the end of the conference partners of the project presented the main substantive results and achievements of the project and discussed necessary mechanisms for its sustainability and further possibilities of cooperation between the partners.
