Laith Hussain-Alkhateeb, PhD; University lecturer and researcher in Global Public Health at the School of Public Health and Community Medicine, Gothenburg, Sweden. Dr. Hussain-Alkhateeb is a coordinator of number of Higher Education courses and has research and academic experience in PhD-training in Global Public Health at local and international levels.

Răzvan Cherecheș, MD, PhD; Professor of Public Health and executive director of the Department of Public Health, College of Political, Administrative and Communication Sciences, Babeș-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca. He is involved either as researcher or as project director, in a large number of international research projects, funded by the European Commission and National Institutes of Health in USA.

Andreea Marcu, PhD candidate and research assistant at the Department of Public Health, College of Political, Administrative and Communication Sciences, Babeş-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Mrs. Marcu has a background in public health and worked in several projects focusing on eHealth and rare cancers.

Elena Bozdog, PhD(C); Project manager in the Department of Public Health, College of Political, Administrative and Communication Sciences, Babeș-Bolyai University. She is a project manager in several research and capacity building projects, funded by both European and USA Agencies.

Christian Stark, Master of theology, University of Salzburg, Diploma of Social Work; Academy of Social Work, Innsbruck, Master of philosophy, University of Innsbruck, Doctor of philosophy (pedagogics); University of Innsbruck.

Prof. Stark has broad experience both in practice and teaching of social work.

Since 2013 prof. Stark is a Vice-Dean for internationalization and research, Coordination of Internationalization of the Research activities at the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences. Prof. Stark presents Upper Austria University of Applied Sciences (FHO) within the project.

Ivan Ciznar is an experienced scientist in the field of microbiology, epidemiology and public health. He has spent several years working at University of Florida USA, International Centre for Diarrheal Diseases Research, Dhaka, Bangladesh on vaccine development programme against diarrheal diseases, further at Max Planck Institute fur Immunology Freiburg Germany, Pasteur Institute Paris, France and other Institutes.

Dr. Ciznar is active in teaching at Slovak Medical University, Bratislava, Slovakia, University of Ostrava, Czech Republic, Parthenope University, Napoli, Italy.

Mária Bartušová, PhD, assistant professor at Slovak medical university, Faculty of Public Health, Department of prevention and clinical medicine in Bratislava, Slovakia. She completed the post gradual study obtaining PhD at the Department of Toxicology and Immunotoxicology in 2016. Ms. Bartušová  has participated in many projects related to the Public Health and Social Sciences, she also teaches course on “Prevention of non-communicable diseases”, doing supervision of bachelor and diploma thesis, writing textbooks and manuals and organizing conferences and professional scientific events.

Veronika Rechtoríková, PhD, assistant professor at Slovak Medical University in Bratislava, Faculty of Public Health, Department of Epidemiology. She is interested in investigation of the incidence of infectious diseases, as well as prevalence and prevention of noninfectious diseases. She has already participated in many projects related to Public Health and Social Sciences.

Artashes Tadevosyan, professor at Yerevan State Medical University. Prof. Tadevosyan has more than 17 years of teaching experience in the Department of Public Health and Health Care. Currently he is the head of the Department. He has developed and now teaches broad range of classes currently taught for MPH students.

Prof. Tadevosyan has rich experience in international collaboration, particularly in developing and implementing research, academic and education programs within different international projects.

Astghik Markosyan, MD, MSc, PhD. Lecturer at Yerevan State Medical University, Department of Public Health and Healthcare. Dr. Markosyan has an MSc degree from Charité Medical University of Berlin, Germany.

Dr. Markosyan has rich experience in coordinating international projects.

She was involved in external affairs of the university for several years, was a local coordinator for a Tempus project, and was involved in the Tempus project on the Development of MPH program at YSMU.

Natalya  Tadevosyan, PhD, leading researcher in Scientific Research Center of Yerevan State Medical University. Dr. Tadevosyan is focused on environmental problems of persistent organic pollutants (POPs), pesticides, fertilizers, and detergents. She has developed and now teaches special course of environmental health for PhD students.

Artak Khachatryan, PhD in Philosophy,  head of the department of Social Work and Social Technologies at Yerevan State University, Associated Professor, PhD in Philosophy, one of the initiators of the development of social work and sociology professions in Armenia, responsible person for social work education courses development and running at Yerevan State University.

Mira Antonyan, PhD in Sociology, associated professor of the Department of Social Work and Social Technologies at Yerevan State University. Dr. Antonyan is the head of Armenian Association of Social Workers, executive director of Children’s Support Centre of Fund of Armenian Relief, national and international expert of social welfare system and child protection issues.

Anahit Sahakyan, PhD in Psychology, associated professor at the Department of Social Work and Social Technologies, vice-dean of the faculty of Sociology at Yerevan State University. Dr. Sahakyan is a trainer and expert of child protection system in Armenia. She is the executive director of the Armenian Democratic Forum NGO and coordinates the “Assistance to Pregnant Women of Armenia” project.

Natia Skhvitaridze, MD, MBA, PhD, Assistant professor (School of Health Sciences, University of Georgia). She has experience of working in Public Health more than 15 years. Tamar Lobjanidze, MSS, PHD, Dean (School of Health Sciences, University of Georgia). Dr. Lobjanidze is a co-author of collaboration and instillation of modern public health systems in Georgia, deputy chief in the Department of Public Health at the Georgian Ministry of Health and Social Affairs (1996-2004). She is a member of the board of National Medical Centre of Developing and Inculcation of Guidelines and Protocols under the Ministry of Health.

Nana Ubilava graduated from the Tbilisi State Medical University (Georgia). She has 26 years of experience of working in healthcare sector in the different levels, including administrative positions (Head of departments, Deputy Minister). Being the executive manager of more than 25 programs, she used to take active participation in development and implementation of public health programs.

Ana Zhorzholiani, Quality Assurance Officer (School of Health Sciences, University of Georgia).

Ana Zhorzholiani has graduated from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University with honor. Ms. Zhorzholiani has eight years of work experience in quality assurance management. She worked as the head of the accreditation department at the Tbilisi State University. She has experience of working in government sector as well. She held chief specialist position at science development division of Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and was responsible person for science popularization, as well as on Tbilisi Science Festival.

Archil Jangirashvili, BLL, LL.Mc, Head of the Accreditation Department in Quality Assurance Office (University of Georgia). He is responsible for internal and external evaluation of compatibility of program accreditation with standards. Mr. Jangirashvili has big experience in internal/external evaluation of program accreditation, curriculum development, educational projects and monitoring. He has years of experience in study process organization and management.

Nino Chikhladze, MD, PhD, Full Professor, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) Georgia Prof. Chikhladze is a full professor of the TSU Faculty of Medicine, Department of Public Health. In addition, she leads Medical Ethics Chair and Quality Assurance Service at the Faculty of Medicine.

Prof. Chikhladze is actively involved in research activities and her major research interests are ethics, non-communicable disease prevention, injury prevention, Medical Education and Public Health Education.

She is an author of various scientific articles and textbooks. She is a member of Scientific Editorial Board of National and International Journals (Morocco, Poland). Prof. Chikhladze presents Tbilisi State University within the Project. 

Dimitri Kordzaia,  MD, PhD, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) Georgia. Prof. Kordzia is a professor of The Faculty of Medicine, Head of the Department of Clinical anatomy and Operative Surgery.

Prof. Kordzaia leads the course in “Academic writing” and “Research skills” in the frame of PhD programs at TSU Faculty of Medicine. Prof. Kordzaia has worked on a numerous international projects in palliative care and medical education.

Prof. Kordzaia is an author of published 150 articles, manuals, abstracts.

Paata Imnadze, MD, PhD, Full Professor, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) Georgia. Prof. Imnadze is a science director of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health of Georgia. He is a head and full professor of the Department of Public Health, same time he leads the chair of the Public Health and Epidemiology. He is a program director of the PhD Program in Public Health and Epidemiology.

Prof. Imnadze is a member of the National Council on Bioethics and the president of Georgian Public Health Association.

Nata Kazakhashvili, MD, PhD, Full Professor, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) Georgia. Prof. Kazakhashvili is an associate professor of TSU since 2004. She manages training programs for the bachelor and postgraduate students on “Public health care”, “Organization and management of health care”.  Prof. Kazakhashvili also manages postgraduate training courses on “Bioethics and medical law”, “Management and improving of quality of medical service”.  She participates in implementation of a partner program in SU/Scranton University.

Lasha Loria , MD, MPH, PhD. Dr. Loria is an associate professor at the department of Public Health at Tbilisi State University. Nato Pitskhelauri , MD, MA, PhD. Dr. Pitskhelauri  is an associate professor at the department of Public Health at Tbilisi State University. She is an author of a several publications, among them “Case based Teaching for Ethical Decision Making”  published at University of Leeds (UK). Dr. Pitskhelauri leads the course of CBCR, Bioethics and Health promotion in frame of MD and Master Program of Public Health Programs at TSU.

Maka Jorbenadze,  MD, PhDAssociate, Professor at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) Georgia. Prof. Jorbenadze is a founder and director of the Child and Adolescent Gynecology and Reproductive Health Association and an author of more than 18 scientific publications.

She is an associate professor at the department of Public Health, senior specialist of Quality Assurance Department at Tbilisi State University, Child and Adolescent reproductive health specialist at Zhordania Clinic of Human Reproduction.
